A couple questions
I am going to book my first cruise ever next month and have a couple questions.
I am booking ours and my best friend and husband to be will be going on the cruise as well. We live in different states and therefore are not booking together. When will we find out what stateroom we have? Is there a way to book rooms near each other? Also, is there a way to be seated together at dinner, or is it only if we book together? TIA

Congrats on getting ready to book your first cruise ever! How exciting for you! To answer your questions...
We've always gotten our stateroom assignment right when we make our reservations. There are rooms that even have connecting doors inside, I believe they are the deluxe outside staterooms because that's what we stayed in when we had a connecting door. And you can also request that you be seated together at dinner. After all, it is Disney and they are very good at accommodating their guests. Also, if you make your reservations at separate times, I'm pretty sure you can ask that the reservation numbers be linked together, that way DCL knows you are traveling together. |

The easiest way to get staterooms near or next to each other is to use the same TA. That way, the TA can make the reservations at the same time even though you are far away.
The other possibility is for one of you to book first, then when the second calls DCL, she can specify that she would like to be in the same general area that you are in. Unless you are booking a gty category, you will know your room numbers when you book. To be seated together at dinner, you need only ask that the reservations be "linked." Whoever calls about this will need the names and reservation number of the other party--thus, whoever books second can take care of this or the TA can do it for you. |

thank you both so much. We can't book through the same TA at the same time because I am booking before they are ready to book. I will tell our TA the situation though and then once they book I will call and have it all taken care of.
