Need Christmas pros help! what two days to choose between..

December 18th and December 29th should have the least crowds and wait times. We will be heading over from WDW for two days during our vacation. I'm anticipating a resounding December 18th - and a resounding no from Dec 24 through the 29th - but would the weekend ie: 19, 20 be better than the 21, 22, 23? This will be a commando two days so crowd level is critical. We were spoiled last time in October with low crowds and FOL as we were staying at HRH - I'm thinking this experience may not be as easy - but who cares RRC here we come!!

Thanks as always to everyone for their great advice

The closer to Christmas the busier the parks are but...it's NUTS after Christmas so anytime before is fine.

What I thought... would there be any benefit to going on the weekend to get the extra hour in, or are the crowds that much bigger?
