Last night James got a talking to for about the thousandth time that he wasn't supposed to jump on the bed. (I'm a little uptight because DH broke the last bed by belly flopping on it

) The scolding must have upset him because a little while later he came into our bedroom with a bag packed announcing he was leaving home. I asked him where he was going and he said he was going to be a hobo and live on the porch. We asked him what was in the bag so he unpacked it and showed us. It had about 16 stuffed animals in it. We told him we loved him, that we missed him and that he could always come back home. It must not have been the answer he was looking for because he changed his mind and decided he was only going to leave for 10 seconds. So down the stairs and out the door he went. And came right back 10 seconds later.
