Help! Trying to decide between March and May!! - The DIS Discussion Forums

We are trying to decide whether to go to Disney the first week of March or May 16 - 22. When will the crowds be the lowest

My guess is both would be pretty good as far as crowds go...the early March dates are before spring break season starts and the mid May dates are before the summer crush starts.

I think March would be better and honestly it will be alot cooler too. As long as you avoid vacation weeks you should be ok

We went around that time in May last year and thought the crowd level was great! We have not been in March - but lots of colleges have their spring break the first week in March.

We are going May 16-23, we went for the same dates last year. The lines were minimal, but it rained the whole time. I think the first week of march would be a great time to go. Spring break hasn't started yet, but there will possibly be tons of school groups there at that time. Another thing to remeber is May is going to be hotter than March. I would choose March, but I can't take a week off school, so I have to wait until may.
