Question Special Occasion Badges?

Shocking...I never thought of this before. Do they hand out the "My 1st Visit" badges at DLR like they do at WDW? If so, where can we get ours?

You can get them at town hall, directly to your left when you come through the gates. You may be able to get them at the ticket booths as well, that's where I got my birthday badge.

Have fun!

You can also get them at many of the stores which would be a much shorter wait than city hall.

On our first day there back in March, we were walking through the DL Hotel and we stopped in the gift shop and got our pins there. We got my birthday pin and a 1st visit pin for my nephew.

If you're buying something at the Emporium on Main Street, you can do 2 things at once...pay for your purchase, and get your pin from the cashier . They usually have them under the counter. If it's your birthday, though, you won't be able to get your birthday phonecall there, only at City Hall.

You can also get them at the Times Board near the hub, lots of the restaurants, Innoventions, and the bigger shops.

We called ahead to the hotel (GCH) and they noted our reservation and we got our buttons when we checked in.

MUST find out what it will take this 26-year-old to earn the honorary citizen pin lol. Maybe I should ride Maliboomer right after a big lunch. That, surely, is an act of bravery, no?

They gave me the honorary citizen pin at the emporium after I spent $50, maybe you buy your way in It might have been because the cashier had a problem so it took quite a while to ring up my purchases so maybe it was for being patient.

The Pooh ride was closed on one of the days we were there earlier this week, the CM gave DD2 an Honorary Citizen button because it was closed. I am pretty sure they will just give one to you if you ask, but I could be wrong.
