My Disney Girl Doll Costumes
Are they easy to find in the parks? DD is getting a doll for Christmas this year, and I wanted to pick up the Minnie costume for her too. If I can't get it down there though, I'll probably need to order it before we go, since we won't be home until late on the 20th. I'd rather not have to pay overnight shipping.
![]() Also, do they have other outfits there that aren't listed on the Disney Store site? I was hoping for a Cinderella costume. Thanks! |

During our January trip, we picked up the Minnie doll costume at the Disney Store at DTD. There were several other costumes to choose from, I just can't recall what they were. We're heading back in 13 days (

Hello! We were just there in September. The Disney Doll outfits I remember seeing were Tink, Minnie, Ariel and Belle. I don't remember seeing Cinderella. Hope this helps!

We were at the World of Disney store in DTD yesterday. There was; Tink, Minnie, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle, and Ariel. My DD believes there was a Cinderella outfit as well, but I don't remember myself. I haven't been to the parks lately so unfortunately I can't help there, but I know that they are at DTD...

Thanks! I'll cross my fingers that they'll have them in stock, and if not, it'll just be a birthday present instead.

Does anyone remember how much they cost? And will they fit the American Girl Dolls? I actually just made my daughters American girl a Alice dress since that is the one my daughter is looking forward to getting herself in Disney world. A Princess dress would be nice also though

Yes, do they fit American Girl dolls?
I have to say that I'm disappointed in the lack of diversity when it comes to the Disney Girl Doll.

The American Girl, Disney Girl & Target brand (Our Generation? My Generation?) are all 18", so I would guess they all fit. I'm kinda counting on it, actually.
![]() The ones listed on disneyshopping.com are $25-$30. |

I know the shoes from Wal-Mart (Madame Alexander dolls) fit them also. I haven't tried the outfit on yet since DD does not want to take the Alice dress off. We needed black shoes and white tights though so that is really the main reason we bought the outfit. So far I have made every outfit for my DD American Girl except of course the one it came with. I don't really think I could do a fancy princess dress though so I really hope they fit!!

DGrD has all the Disney Girl doll princess dresses (except Aurora because you can only get that one at the million dollar princess tea
).They DO fit her American Girl dolls - they are a bit snug to get on, but fit fine once I help her get them into the dresses. The shoes and tiaras fit great. When we were down in October CR gift shop had Minnie, Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White, and Jasmine. I think they were charging about $25 for them. |

We bought several last year and they were $25 each. They had a great selection at that time in the shop in the Toontown Hall of Fame. They also sold them in the gift shop at the Pop Century. Of course, the best selection is probably the World of Disney in DD. I do recall looking for a specific one in Toontown, and asking the CM, who was able to find one in back.
I know we DO have Cinderella, but don't remember which trip we bought it on....

I did not use a pattern so it isn't perfect, but I think it turned out pretty good. Ignore the pink shoes
I got her black ones and tights today. ![]() ![]() ![]() This one the Mickey head is appliqued on. Took some time, but my daughter has a matching shirt. I will add a bow though so it will be Minnie when I am finished. haha ![]() Then here is Alice. ![]() I have shortened the ribbons so it does look a bit better. Like I said not exactly, but my daughter loves it, and I didn't use a pattern. Anyway those are all her Disney clothes. I either made them or bought premie clothes and took them up. I think they turned out pretty good myself. Like I said though I don't think I can pull off a Princess dress. hahaha |

The gift shop in the Grand Floridian carries them as well (the one near the monorail exit). Agree on the $25 price tag. We have the Jasmine and Ariel costumes and I didn't think they cooperated very well on DD's American Girl doll
