Its getting closer...

Okay everyone, I am finally returning to DL!!!
After taking a year off, we are returning with the whole family!!
their will be 14 of us total and its going to be sooo great!!!

Any ideas or suggestions that a big family can do together?
Two of our party members are elderly so they will be in wheelchairs, my son is only 1 and my duaghter is 5. Big range in ages.

So only 2 weeks to go...
Thanks for letting me share!!!!

Those sound wonderful! Thank you!
It looks like you will be there shortly too Tink! Have a great time!
Thank you for the suggestions, I dont think we can convince the whole team to do dessert for Fantasmic but that would a blast! How much is the cost for that again?
I think I will definatly try to fit some of those in for sure though...
I stil have yet to see Alladin with my kiddos and My grandparents would love to do the Jungle Cruise.
Does anyone know if IASW has a boat for wheelchairs?

Definitely get everyone matching shirts and take a group photo!

Where are you staying? We are renting a house next week from VRBO.com and love doing that. It's nice to have a kitchen and laundry facilities with a large group like that. We save money by eating dinner there every night as well. It would cost a small fortune for us to eat out every meal.

One thing I have learned when doing DL with a large group is that not everyone moves at the same pace and everyone tends to have an opinion of how they want to spend their day. Be patient and go with the flow!!

Aladdin, fireworks, & Goofy's fur sure!
I'd also suggest the Mark Twain, Innoventions, the Play Parade, & TSMM.
And they do have a wheelchair accessible boat, but there's only one, so I don't know how you would work that out w/ 2 members in a wheelchair.

It's $59 per adult and $49 per child. Ouch! Of course, your one year old wouldn't need a ticket at least. But (and hopefully others will chime in), I believe there's a special spot for wheelchair seating. Perhaps a few of you can bring some blankets and stake out a spot next to the wheelchair area and you can all watch together from there!

This is why I love the DL group!! So Helpful!
Thank you everyone for your suggestions!
I already asked DH about matching shirts and he said NO... lol
I dont blame him tho, its not really his style.
But...
I am thinking about making matching shirts for the kids and grandparents.
Little Brother, Big Sister, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa... I think they will love it! I already requested on the DISigns board.
$59 per adult is a little steep for us, so I think were gonna pass this round.
A group photo is definately going to be in our future, thanks!
I have plans on ordering flip books for all of us to keep!
I am sooo excited!

and if its just one wheelchair at a time, thats ok. My grandma can transfer out of her wheelchair, but my grandfather can not...
thanks again!!
keep the suggestions rolling in please!!!

I'm with you there! $59/$49 is definitely pricey for a 30 minute event!!! But, to clarify, when I was talking about the wheelchair area and staking out spots before hand with blankets, that's in the general seating area that doesn't cost anything. You probably knew what I meant, but just wanted to make sure!

yes i understood what you meant
I think we may have to stake out some viewing areas around the wheelchair access to get a group viewing.
I really love the fantasmic show, my DH was introduced to the show last year and he is now an avid fan!!
I think when we went last Xmas the fireworks show was wishes if memory serves me right and it was a spectacular show!!!
I also watched the halloween fireworks show on youtube and it was also wonderful! I just love the detail and magic that Disney dedicates to everything!

We made dinner reservations to Midievil Times the night we come in to Anaheim, so we have one dinner together. Its going to be soo much fun!!!
