Disney Store doll clothes quality?
DD3 got a Cinderella doll and some of those tiny polly pocket disney princesses for her birthday and LOVES them. Problem is, they are falling apart after only a couple months of use. These were purchased at a local big box store.
We'd like to get her something better quality that will hopefully last longer (wishful thinking, maybe), and noticed these dolls carried by the Disney Store http://www.disneystore.com/prince-pr...1251253/13432/ Does anyone have these? Or, any other experience with other Disney Store dolls? I looked at them through the box in the store and they LOOK good, but that doesn't mean anything. Thanks! |

We bought a Tinkerbell doll from the Disney store, her head fell off. Not sure how long it took for it to break now but it did.
We also bought the Ariel bride and Groom set at WDW and the groom does not have one leg anymore. This fell off shortly after we got him. Of course we didn't return it since we were had home by then and wasn't worth the hassle to replace him. My dd (9) is not rough with them either . Just happens I guess.

The dolls themselves are fine, it's the threadbare, ripped clothes I'd like to improve on. I'd love to just buy new clothes without the dolls, actually!

We bought the wedding clothes at the Disney store without the dolls a few years ago, they were okay. It is just the velcove that sticks to the other clothes if they don't close the them up becomes a problem .
Hard to tell kids if they take the clothes off do the backs back up so they don't stick to the other clothes and ruin them. |
