Birthday Balloons Delievered to Room? - The DIS Discussion Forums

My DH's bday will be during our trip, and I would like to do something special to surprise him like maybe having balloons waiting for him in our room or something. Is there a way to have balloons and possibly a card signed by Mickey delivered to our room without us being there?

Occasionally resorts do this, BUT:
A)It cannot be guaranteed. It's a free service. If they do it, great! But please don't be upset if they don't. They have been known to run out of helium or have trouble chasing down characters

B)They will do it at their convenience, not based on when you will be out of the room. It cannot be done prior to your arrival. It takes them time to track down characters so it would be at least 24 hours after check-in.
Maybe you can purchase something from the Florist (cake? gift basket?) that will include the card and balloons and then they will schedule delivery when you want it.
