Noise factor on level 2

We just received are room assignment on level two and we just noticed that it is located directly below the rockin bar wavebands on level three.

Has anybody stayed in this location and did you have any problems with the noise from above?

Thanks

We didn't, but our tablemates did and they never felt there was much noise and slept fine. They loved their room location.

Inside or outside stateroom? Some have reported the Cat 12's in that area can hear the bass from the club above but I don't recall any hugely negative noise issues. I guess it all depends on how late you stay up or how heavy or light a sleeper you are!

I am sure others will respond with their experiences.

My last 7 night was directly below the D. While I did notice the sound when I went to bed early one night - it was not very distracting. If you are concerned, consider bringing some foam earplugs!

No Notice

We were on Deck 2 in May on the Magic. I loved it there because it was so easy to just pop up to the clubs at night for the games, etc. We did not notice any extra noise.

We stayed in 2538 a couple of years ago. Could hear the base but it was not enough to keep me or the kids up.

We found the base annoying.

We had 2 cat 9's on the Magic in May on Deck 2. The noise from above was not a problem, the noise from the kids in the hall around Ocean Quest was a whole other issue!

Check out the stateroom reviews for that area in the FAQ thread at the top of the page. I found it very helpful to get other people's perspectives of essentially the same room. I wrote a review of 2042 and/ 0r 2044. We had both those rooms in August. I loved the location, very close to laundry, elevators, and the area where you disembark. I loved our porthole too. I heard some random noise during the afternoons (during my sons naps) the noise was like moving furniture and dropping things. Some noises were super loud, others just annoying. At night I heard bass maybe once. I sleep with a noise machine anyways so that just blocked out everything. If you are worried, buy a small noise machine and bring it just in case.
