Mickey Ears Sighting
Last night, I was at my favorite hangout (a steakhouse/bar) and a guy who appeared to be in his 60s came in with Mickey ears on (along with a very colorful shirt, tan shorts, and suspenders) and joined his dinner companion. I love Disney (as the vast majority of us must, or we wouldn't be on this site) but I wouldn't wear Mickey ears to dinner at a steakhouse a little over two hours from WDW (I MIGHT on property, but even then I don't think I'd wear them to Artist Point or Yachtsman) and he definitely had a couple of people laughing over it. Of course, that might have been his intention in the first place.

Hey---If he didn't mind, why should we? I guess if they make fun of purple spiked hair, they would make fun of Mickey ears. In the long run, who does it hurt? I know I would not do either...but that's me!

The more I think about it, the more I'm betting that he did it for a laugh and with the world the way it is right now, we can all use more of those.

I certainly wouldn't want to draw that much attention to myself, but Mickey Ears Guy sounds like he'd be a lot of fun!

I wonder if he was being a good sport after winning/losing a bet. Or maybe they are planning a trip and he wanted to get into the mood. The older I get the more I realize you have to enjoy yourself every chance you get.
Go Mickey Ears Guy!!!!!!!!! ![]()
