New Year's Eve
We will be in Anaheim December 26 to January 3, what should we do for New Year's Eve. We are a family of four, DS 13 and DD 15. Are the parks/Downtown Disney open late?

I'm not sure how late DTD is open til, but the parks are definately open. If you don't mind crowds & crowds of ppl, then you should check it out. It's a lot of fun, but like I said, there's LOTS of ppl.

Yes, the parks will be open late, they are also rumored to be quite busy....

No plans for our next visit, it will be 2011 or 2012 before we head back. We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10. |

The parks are open late and they are VERY BUSY... we love to go to DL for New Years Eve along with our closest friends
....They will reach capacity and they will close the gates....We have been several times and we are going this year ...the crowds are very heavy but if you go with the plan to enjoy the environment, ride the rides that you can and to deal with all the Happy Disney Nuts...then you will have a great time!!

About 5 years ago DBF and I did New Year's Eve at DL. I remember the morning and early afternoon were not to bad but it was PACKED at night but it was so fun to watch the fireworks and count down the new year at Disneyland!
