So is the floating water slide on Castaway Cay ready yet?

Sorry if this has already been brought up. I've been watching this board and haven't seen anything about it since it was first brought to the island perhaps about 2 months ago.

If it's up, is it any fun?

I dont remember the exact time frame off hand, but the new slide is not supposed to be in use until sometime next year.Or late this year. I know it is in position, just not used.Fairly certain its next year though.

Not until Summer 2010.

The additional island amenities are scheduled to be complete by summer 2010, in time for special five-night cruises aboard the Disney Wonder with two stops at Castaway Cay, and the Disney Dream cruise ship which starts sailing in early 2011.

We were there last Friday (11/6). It looks pretty cool, but it's not operational yet.

If you watch the video on that link, it kinda seems like the waterslide will be off to the side of the family beach. Right now it's kinda positioned off the tip of land between the boat area/Castaway Ray's and family beach. So to me it seems it's just floating there now to be moved later? What do others think? Somewhere I have a pic from last week that I can post later that shows exactly where it is right now.
