Late-ish lunch with EMH morning hours?

Your honest opinion would be greatly appreciated! I'm a newbie and need lots of help.

We are going to be in MK on December 3 and are planning to do EMH, so we'd be in the park by 8:00. Our CP reservation is at 1:10. Do you think that is too long of a morning for us? Our DD's are 3 and 6.

I've been trying to move our CP to the day before, but haven't been having much (any) luck. I know we could get a snack mid morning somewhere - maybe one of those yummy cinnamon rolls at Main Street bakery? But I guess my main question is whether we'll be pushing it too hard to go from 8:00-1:00.

This will be our 2nd day in MK, if that helps. If this is going to be too much, I'll keep trying for CP for the day before or maybe an earlier ADR on that day. Thanks!

What we found best that works for us is to spend a couple of hours playing then take a mid-morning break. We would find a place to sit have a nice snack around 10:30 or 11:00am. Nothing huge (share a pretzel, popcorn or such) but something to let everyone relax maybe sit on a bench and see a show in front of the castle if it is the right time or have the kids play a game where once they find 5 people with yellow shirts or whatever we choose once snack is done we can move on.

Then we can have 1 1/2 to 2 hours until lunch. Where we will be sitting until the end of lunch.

Does your 3 yr old nap? We would leave shortly after lunch or find a quiet place to nap while the other would take our older child to a few rides or something special.

That sounds like a good plan. We should be able to get all of the big headliners done by 10:00, so then we can rest and "relax" a bit (take a slower pace) until lunch. I was just getting worried that it was a long stretch in the park. The other days, we aren't arriving in the park until 9:00 and leaving at noon or so.

Thanks for the reply!
