Help is viewing Castle lighting. What time are they on

Does anyone remember what time they were last year. I could swear they started at 6pm. We have decided NOT to do MVMCP and will be at the MK on a party night til 7pm. However, i cannot see the time on the official calendar. I am curious because i thought someone statedc 6:45 but by the time they get the lights on and the show over, there will be no time to take pic in front of castle before you have to go? Will the photographers still take photos as i assume the castle show is 15 min then you leave

I cannot confirm 100%, but I believe that they are currently going on around 6:30PM. The reason they are not on the schedule is that as the season goes on, the time will get earlier and earlier until it is about 5:45PM due to the fact that it begins to get dark earlier.

Hopefully someone will be able to confirm this for certain.

Cinderella's Holiday Wish will continue the 2008 schedule and be performed at 6:30 with the Castle Dream Lights being lit at approximately 6:45.

Yes,I would "think" they would allow photos until 7:15 or so since it is on Main Street and you would not be trying to go "deeper" into the Park, but that is just a guess.Non-Party Guests will still exiting the Lands at 7:00,so there will be quite a few non-Party Guests on Main Street at 7:00.

When I have attended the Party,I have observed they did not begin a major "sweep" of Main Street until about 7:30 or so.

If a Cast Member approaches you, assure them you will leave PROMPTLY as soon as you take a photo.

The castle lighting show is only 8 minutes long and starts daily at 6:30 pm. You will have plenty of time to shoot some great photos.

Last year we went to the MK for just one day and it was a party night. We weren't going to the party, but I really wanted pictures with the lit up castle. I positioned my family very close to a photopass photographer to watch the Cinderella's Wish show. They weren't letting people in the photopass line during the show. Immediately after the show ended, we stepped in line and got pictures there. Then, on a whim, we walked over to the walkway between the hub and Tomorrowland. There was a photopass photographer there too, with NO wait at all! We got great castle pictures from a different angle and with no other people in them. Those were my favorites. We had time to get pics by both of those photographers without infringing upon the party time.

Thanks for the great info! For some reason,I thought Cinderella's Holiday Wish lasted a little longer than 8 minutes everytime I have seen it.That is great news for the OP.That will give then 22 minutes before the Party starts!

If ,for some reason,non-Party Guests are not able to have their photos taken by 7:00,will they be allowed to stay "into" the Party for a while? Thanks!
