Monsters Inc @ Target?

Anybody having any luck finding it? Two of the stores by my house have rainchecks. That won't do, because the coupons expire and prices will change next week.

With a rain check will you still get the sale price and I would ask a manager about the coupon.

Keep looking or calling!! We have been looking for it since Tuesday and finally stumbled across some today! We were calling different Targets to see if they had gotten them in, and one guy was willing to check the computer to see if any other stores had any. He said one of the stores showed they just received 5 copies, so I called that store and they had *JUST* received 5 copies via FedEx minutes earlier. They held one for me until I could get there and bought both movies doing the price match/coupon deal.

Keep checking. Ours had no UP or Monsters, Inc last night, and about a million today when I went back. I called first, and was actually skeptical when they said they had a bunch, but she was right.

Here's my story

Went to my nearby Target this morning. They had UP but no MI. Asked the sales associate about MI, he said that there was only one store in Colorado Springs (way on the other side of town - about 20 minutes away), that had some. He thought they had about 8 or so. He checked on the computer for me and found that they only had ONE. I asked if he would call and see if they would hold it for me.

The other Target associate tried to say that they can't hold items. The Sales Associate at my store kept on the other guy and he finally said he would hold it for me. So I drove straight over there.

Started out by looking for UP, there weren't any on the shelves. Went to ask the SA if they had any (had been told they had 50). There was another lady also waiting for the SA. SA asked me what I needed. I asked if they had the UP on BR, he said they were up by the cash registers. Then I told him that I was the lady who they were holding MI for. The SA got all sweaty and tongue tied and proceeded to tell me that it is not their policy to hold items that are on sale. And the reason is, "is because this lady (the other lady waiting) is here looking for MI and this is the last one". So I began wondering if I was going to have to duke it out with this lady for the movie. He finally gave it to me, right in front of the other lady. I felt bad, but I had called before and they said they would hold it for me.

Went up to Guest Services, got my price match and all my coupons and ended up spending $10.98 for both movies.

Hope you all can find the MI before the end of the weekend, and hope your adventure isn't as stressful as mine was.

This will help you in your search.

Here is an online inventory checker for Target. Enter your zip code and this number 058-30-0070 for blu ray Monster's Inc. It is pretty close to real time, but call before you go.

http://services.rivernorthdesign.com/target/

My Target got six copies this afternoon. The new shipment of Monster's Inc didn't have the peelie coupon, but my total was $13.15 for both on blu ray:
$19.99 for Up (price it is ringing up at Target)--got the last copy with the journal
$18.99 for Monster's Inc (price match to Best Buy)
- $10 Disney Up coupon
- $8 Disney Monster's Inc upgrade coupon
- $10 Target coupon when you buy both.

I got lucky and got the last MI at my Target on Tuesday afternoon around 4:30. Had plenty of UP, probably around 50 on the one display.

They had a ton of UP with the journal at Target. And they just got a shipment of the Monster's Inc. I was wondering why the sales clerk stocking them asked if we needed a copy... It's a good price, but I didn't have that much money.

Is there a coupon out there for UP?? I just saw it the other night in the 75 cent movies, and we both really liked it.

oUR TARGET GOT IT BACK IN STOCK TODAY (mi) oops..

They didn't have a journal one though. So I took the 2 BR disks to the customer service desk. The MI didnt have a peelie. boo.

Showed my bestbuy ad, and the lady price matched it. Gave the $10 Target coupon, then the 8 and 10 coupons.

Came out to $13.01

Upset I didn't get the peelie though. She would have rung it up. There were about 6 copies of MI.. and Tuesday there were like 50 UP.. this time there was about 15 and only about 6 BR one..

Our Target had 2 MI in stock last night, right before closing. I had called and was planning to drive out and try to get there before they locked the doors. Luckily, the ever-so-sweet associate offered to hold a copy for me for 24 hours. So, I'm off to get mine this morning. They had tons of copies of UP all week, so I assume I'll be OK with that one. I have checked 5 times, and they only had a small, empty, space for MI. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it has the $10 stickie coupon, but life will be OK without it. It's funny because we had decided not to spend money purchasing UP. But with all these deals, how can I pass on it?

our Target got 5 more copies in yesterday of the MI, not peely $10 sticker though, still I price matched the best buy add, $10 coupon for UPs, $8 coupon for MI and target $10 coupon for buying both. Total $10, in the BB add if you bought UPS you can purchase the UPs DS game for $9.99, so I did.
Grand total $20.00 for 2 Blu Ray movies and 1 DS game.

you dont need to bring in the old movie to use the $8 coupon. You just bring the $8 coupon in with you and they will deduct the $8 coupon off.
