Best Western Lakeside - Anyone stayed here?

Has anyone ever stayed at Best Western Lakeside in Kissimmee? I booked it on hotwire for $36 a night. Even though it's said to be a 3 star hotel I'm nervous about staying there. We'll be spending most of our time at Disney so my husband tells me not to worry but I can't help it!

Anyones opinions/reviews would be great!

I have stayed there twice in the past and it was just fine. No frills, but clean and large rooms. The beds weren't the greatest but they weren't the worst either. It has a fridge so that was handy for drinks and stuff. The pool area was fairly nice, my kids enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet in the am is overpriced but I got it for free with my deal...so that was great. Don't worry, you will be just fine. I was going to book this hotel again in January for my solo trip, but I got a better deal at Comfort Inn LBV this time.

I stayed at Best Western Lakeside in October 2007 and October 2008. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was pretty close to the parks too. There is a Walgreens really close by too. $36 a night is an awesome rate congrats.

We stayed here when it was The Sheraton Inn Lakeside in Nov of 1997. The rooms were clean, they had a mini store back then. Outback is across the street. A great first stay and first visit in Lake Buena Vista.

I've stayed there 4 times. The most recent being in May 09. I got it on hotwire each time for about $30/night. They stays have always been great. It's clean, quiet and convenient to the parks. They do charge a $3.50/night resort fee.

We spent one night here at the end of our trip (after a week in my friend's timeshare) in December '07. I agree with others, the breakfast was a bit pricey but we got a great rate. We didn't use the pool, but DS and I did play the mini-golf. It wasn't in great shape, but it was cute (and free!) The room was clean. So another thumbs-up here.

We stayed here in January of this year, it was fine, the room was pretty large, TV, coffee maker, fridge free wifi. Functional for what we needed. We had no time to try the pool or breakfast though as we pretty much only used the room to sleep!

We did use their laundry room too as the kids ran out of socks and that was pretty reasonable, DH took the laundry down there really early while the kids and I were sleeping, he watched a movie on the laptop while the laundry did and then came back to us! I have a great husband!

Nice and quick to get to WDW down Sherberth Road too!
