Thumbs up I'm Happy with Happy.....Limo!!

Hi all,

Figured I'd post about our experience with Happy Limo. After reading a few postings, some of them quite negative, I really had reservations about using them. Here's the breakdown:
My brother (Hiddenmickeys) and our families (8 of us ttl) booked Happy Limo to take us from the airport (MCO) to the Radisson at Port Canaveral. Our flight from Philly got in about 12 minutes early, and we were still greeted by our driver, holding a large sign with Happy Limo logo and Parker Family written on it at the bottom of the escalator in baggage claim, just as they say in their ad. The men in our group carried bags, but the driver took all the bags the girls had had and carried them all himself to the limo, which he had parked close by an exit door right behind the rental car counter. He loaded all the bags in the limo himself, welcomed us all with handshakes (his name was Gary), took a picture of all of us by the limo, and held the door as we each got in. He then stuck his head in and showed us how to work the controls for the lighting and air conditioning, showed us to the complimentary soft drinks he had iced down for us, and started the movie (Madagascar) for the kids to watch. He asked if we wanted to stop at a Publix on the way to get any snacks or booze for the ship, which we did, for 15 minutes as he waited. Back in the limo and right to the front lobby door to the Radisson; total travel time 1 hr. He even unloaded our bags with our boys onto a trolley as we checked into our rooms.
On our return, the limo showed up at the same front door to the lobby exactly on time (to the minute) and we received the same level of service on the way back to the airport..different driver, but SAME SERVICE. Even had the sodas iced for us again. Got us to the airport in just 45 min (no stop) and helped us unload the bags for the curbside check in.

We have 8 people in our families, and 5 of us are in the xxl or above club, so we ordered a Lincoln Navigator limo, which they say will hold 14 (or 8+ big boys). We paid 245 each way + tip (save 10 bucks each way by mentioning disboards!). It would be cheaper for this trip if you have smaller people in your family and could go with a standard limo. Overall, even with the tip, it still was almost 100 cheaper than renting a car, and was a very pleasant ride!

Would I use Happy Limo again???....ABSOLUTELY!! They were terrific for us start to finish, and yes I would recommend them to others too.

Two corrections (because that's what brothers do to each other lol). To get the discount, you need to mention mousesavers, not disboards (no disrespet to disboards lol). Also, we had George on the way in, and Gary was on the way home. But yes, everything my bro said above is true. They were both fantastic, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Any and all Limo Services have bad reviews which you hear of more often ............... It is good to see positive comments. We should take more time to report Good Service as this is more the norm for all the Limo services in Orlando area.......................

Happy Limo

We have also used Happy Limo for about 7 years now mostly going to WDW. They have always been fantastic. We try to schedule a particular driver because he is so friendly and outgoing. And yes, we have been able to save $$ by mentioning mousesavers...thanks Mary for your wonderful website!

On one particular trip our daughter was in the college program at EPCOT and could not come home for the Christmas holiday. She called Christmas Eve and got depressed when she heard that her big brother and sister-in-law had come to NC from PA. But what she did not know was that Mom & Dad were flying to WDW early Christmas morning to surprise her when her shift started at 9am! So we had arranged a Town Car from Happy Limo to drive us to EPCOT and our driver wondered where our luggage was...we told him the story and he chatted with us all the way to EPCOT about our plan...and 4 hours later he picked us up to bring us back to MCO for our flight home...he asked us all about her surprise and said he wished he could have seen it...it was priceless to see her as the boat captain on the Living with the Land Boat ride and at the end there we were holding up signs surpising her! you see we had only 9 hours before other family would be arriving at the house, so what better way to kill time but to go to WDW...I know, some of you are thinking that was an expensive 4 hours....NOT.. We flew Southwest for $49 roundtrip pp. To this day our DD says that is the best Christmas she ever had!

We have had very positive experiences with Happy Limo. Have used them at least 3 round trips and have recommended them to others who have had no problems. Our favorite driver is Robert. He is usually our driver for at least one leg of our round trips--and it feels like we're catching up with an old friend when we're with him!

Wow! We had Gary going to the port, Oct. 31!! He was great. This was our 3rd time using Happy Limo. All 3 times we were upgraded for free from a stretch limo to a big Excursion or Escallade. We never count on it but it's nice to get it.
Never had a bad experience.
We had Gary last Thanksgiving cruise too.
