Her happiness and total joy at being named Entertainer of the Year at the CMA's was so moving to me. It's nice to see it happen to such a sweet young lady. Good show tonight. Between Jason Aldean and the Zac Brown Band performing, I am one happy lady!!

Do you know if they are going to rebroadcast them sometime during the week?

I'm sure they will. I know it's usually on CMT sometime the weekend and the week after. It may be on as early as tomorrow.

Not only is Taylor Swift the youngest musician to ever win Entertainer of the Year...she's the first woman to win the award since Shane Twain. (And, that was in 1999).

Darius Rucker also made history tonight. He won CMA's New Artist of the Year. Charley Pride is the only other African-American to win a major individual (CMA) award .

Congratulations to them both!!!

She made me cry too! I'm happy for her, but I am a little surprised at the people she beat out for this award. Does anyone know why Toby Keith is never part of these shows anymore? He is my favorite.

I don't think Toby has any new music out.

I thought Brad and Carrie did a great job hosting I l oved there little duets LOL

Taylor is okay, I don't personally think she in the same league as Kenny, Brad, and there is no way she has paid her dues like George has.

Taylor has gone higher faster than anyone ever has in country- plus she crosses over into the pop category.

I thought it was FANTASTIC to see a woman win for a change! 10 years is a long time!

According to the article I read the last woman to win entertainer of the year was Shania Twain in 1999........ I think Carrie won Female vocalist of the year....

I was thinking Carrie won too...so I did a search and she did...she was the first one to break Kenny Chesneys winning streak as he had one several years in a row until Kerry won.
