Will the Dream have fishes for FEs?

Has anyone confirmed whether or not the Dream will have fishes outside of the staterooms? I ask because, in setting up our FE exchange in our meets thread, someone posed the question. Anyone seen/heard/read anything about this? And, how tragic if not.

Outside your cabin is a fish used to put notes and other items in. A fish extender (FE) is a bag or multi pocket hanger of some sort that people attach/hang on to the fish. People use the FE to exchange gifts with each other. If you're on your cruise's meet board there is prob a FE gift exchange list with everyone's room number. It can be really fun to participate in. My oldest enjoyed checking her pocket every time we entered or left the room to see what goodies were in there, and enjoyed walking around the whole ship delivering our gifts to the other cruisers. The gifts can be as simple as candy and stickers to more elaborate items like custom made CD's and keychains. If you search around this forum you can find pics of people's FE's...they range from a simple to elaborate.

And it was our thread cruise that Crystal was referring too...Hi Crystal, can't believe the group we have and it's over a year and a half away.

No way of knowing until we see some actual pictures....but I can't imagine why they wouldn't have them. They still need them for the purpose intended...to deliver messages to the rooms.
Every ship I've been on has them in one form or another. If it isn't a "fish" then someone clever will just have to come up with a new name for them.

Even if there's no fish, there'll be a door handle or a slightly sticking out room number - something that with DISboard ingenuity we can figure out how some way of attaching an FE to it.

At the absolute worst the FE gifts have to be put in plastic bags and hung on the door handle.

Unless, they've taken out the door handles, hmmm

I know - I can already tell it's going to be a fun cruise with our DIS group.

That's good to know. And, if it's not a fish, hopefully something just as cool.
