A wait list question concerning switching only one room out of two and pool hopping.

We will be reserving our home resort at 11 months for a 1bd and a 2bd for Feb 2011 and then at the 7 month mark try to get the two units at BCV. If we were able to get the 2bd for 5 people and not get the 1bd for me and DH, can you think of any way for us to use the SAB pool with the rest of our group? The 2bd can hold 8 so there is room for us on the ressie but we would already have a ressie back at the home resort. That would be a shame if we couldn't be together. We want the space of the two different units. I wonder if talking to management would help. I really hope we will all get into BCV.

Any help here would be appreciated. We might run into trouble because it will be President's Day Week.

Talking to management problably won't help, but put your names on the 2BR as well (as long as you don't have the dining plan.) From what I've heard, people sometimes have their names on 2 reservations at the same time and it's not an issue. Good luck.

You can list the max people in the unit at BCV but technically you'd be limited to those people for SAB. You could ask management but I doubt they'd agree to allow PH for the party to be together. You could decide to keep them all at the same resort and you'd be together. You could also PH to other resorts that are not blocked if not during a blackout time. If you open up to studios, that might improve your chances though the 1 BR is most likely to be available.
