Will MK be LESS crowded in the morning of a MVMCP?

We have 3 days: Dec 8, 9, 10 and want to go to MK, AK, and HS. I don't think we're going to do MVMCP b/c kids are age 2 and 5, so I'm trying to decide if we should do MK on one of the MVMCP days, or if we should do it on the one day that doesn't have MVMCP. Thoughts? Thanks!

Do it on a MVMCP day. People without hoppers avoid MK on those days because of the 7:00 close & no Spectro or Wishes. One time I went on a Wednesday, which was a non-MVMCP day and we left at noon, it was so crowded we couldn't stand it.

IMHO any of those days will be fine. This is a low crowd time. Plan your days around the park specific events not MVMCP.

If you do not do the MVMCP, then I would pick a day when there is no party. The park closes early unless you are doing the party. This limits your time. An afternoon break will allow for the kids to enjoy the evening. Some people believe the crowds may be lighter on a MVMCP day due to some not attending the party. This may or may not be true. But the earls closing time is a fact. We were there 2 years ago on a weekday and stayed for the party. It was packed most of the day. After the 1st parade and fireworks, the crowds did thin out a little. Hope this helps.

Last December my family and I went to the Magic Kingdom on a MVMCP day and during the morning we had no problems with the crowds.

I have asked myself the same question. Yes it will be less crowded on a mvmcp day. However I think we will deal with the crowds in order to be there to see spectro and wishes.

Thanks for all of the responses. I'm sure this is a totally newbie question to ask, but they do the fireworks every night at MK? So if we went to MK on a non-MVMCP day, we would still see fireworks?

On nights when MVMCP won't be happening they will have the regular Wishes fireworks, however on MVMCP nights they only show Holiday Wishes at 9:30 PM.
