Fastpass strategy for Soarin/Test Track
If we arrive at Epcot for rope drop on a non-EMH day, which one should we ride right away versus getting a fast pass for if we want to be able to do both in the shortest amount of time? There will be 6 of us.

Hello fellow firefighter...
Soarin always has the longest wait of anything at Epcot...so I usually head straight to there at rope drop....ride it...get a fast pass if I want to do again later..then head to Test Track and ride...

This is exactly what we do. Even the lines at the Soarin' Fastpass machines are crazy. Test Track is easy to get Fastpasses for, and the single rider line is a second alternative.

I would get the soarin fast pass and ride it. Then go to test track later and use the single rider line--goes quite fast.
We let our ds9 go in the single line. He went first, dh called to tell me he was going on it. I was on the other side as far as cm's let me go to get son. Turns out they were both in the same car. Unless you really want a group picture, this is the quickest way to go. |

We get to EPCOT at RD hopefully and EMH morning.
I deal with the thundering heard stampeding to Soarin while the family waltzes over to Test Track. I get FP for Soarin and then mosey on over to Test Track which we then ride. Last trip we got rode Test Track three times no waiting. We walked right on the ride the first time. After the ride finished there was nobody waiting so we just sat in the car and did it again. We had to get out after the second trip since people were starting to stack up but we walked right back on for a third trip. ![]() The Soarin Stampede is kind scary. Disney is doing a good job keeping people from running and I liked the way they managed the herd this last trip compared to last spring but I don't want my kids in that crowd. One person going down and someone is getting hurt. ![]() If you have family members that can handle the Soarin Stampede then it would be a good strategy to get there at RD, do the walk-run to Soarin, get a FP, and then ride the ride. After wards go to Test Track for a few laps and wait for the FP time. Later, Dan

We join the crowd at rope drop, ride Soarin' and then get a FP. As soon as our window opens, we get a FP for TT, ride whatever else we want, and either return to TT or Soarin' to use the FP depending on where we are at the time. We returned after the appointed time for both and there wasn't any problem with that.

And I would add after TT go head straight over to Mission Space. Once you have accomplished the trio riding everything else in future world and world showcase will be a breeze until the parks start to get real busy.

We go against the flow and it always works great for us. We ride Test Track, usually two or three times with no wait and no preshow, ride Mission Space with no wait. Head to Soarin and get Fastpasses. We then explore that side of Epcot which can include: Living the the Land, Circle of Life, Seas with Nemo & Aquarium or Figment.
As soon as our Fastpass is active we go grab another and then ride. Return to touring and then use the other Fastpass well after the stated second time at our convenience.

we ride soarin' first thing (join the stampede!) and then grab MS fastpasses and single rider TT... by the time we're done w/TT, it's time for our MS fastpasses... we'll often grab a soarin' fp on the way to the living seas building for a second ride
