Family Suite at Music OR POR?
Which one would you recommend? We're having a family gathering next November and we're trying to decide which would be better for my sister's family. They have 3 kids; 10, 8 and 4. If they stay at the family suite, then they will have my Mom in the room as well. So the 3 kids and 3 adults. If not, then my mom will be staying with me at POR.
Which do you recommend?

That is a tough choice. We have done both. Do you plan on spending a lot of time at the parks? Would you be happier to have more space, a kitchentte, and an extra bathroom? If so, then choose the All Star Suite. If your family spends a lot of time at the resort using the pool and other amenities then go with POR.

Okay, I already am 40, but if I were to change my name, how would you know it was me?

Depends on what is more important. I loved having the suite. But, there is only one bed. If mom were not in the suite with them, I think that would be a great choice. The pullouts are pretty comfy, but most adults don't seem to want to use a pull out for more than a night or 2. There are fun pool activities at ASMu, but no slide.
If they want more real beds and a slide, then POR would work. Personally, I would go for more space at the suite...

The pull outs aren't like the hide-a-bed sofas we all have at our grandma's house, they are specially engineered to not have that middle bar. HOWEVER I don't know that they would all be comfy... because the couch sleeps 2, and the chair makes a twin, & the ottoman makes another twin. Grandma would be sleeping on a twin, or with one of the kids.
You would get 2 bathrooms with the suite, which is a bigger plus having 3 adults in any room. Not to mention the kitchette that can be taken advantage of. They would definitely have more room in the fam. suite, and it would be better than cramming everyone in your room at POR as well. With all of that being said, I've just talked myself into the family suite for you guys!

So at Music Family Suite, you have to fold everything up and set it up every single night?

you don't have to fold it up but that is usually what we have done they are really quick to fold out though.

Instead of the family suite, I would just get two rooms at the value resort. You can choose any of the values that you prefer. Two rooms are cheaper than the family suite and you not only get two bathrooms but two tv's and 4 true beds. We were a family of five and this worked well for us. Just request connecting rooms.

I didn't find the pull outs to be uncomfortable at all. I shared one with my 13yr old niece, and we slept fine. My 16yr old nephew slept fine on the chair pull out too. In fact everyone said they would rather do a Family Suite again instead of 2 rooms.
