A moment of silence for me... sigh

After getting my hopes up of going for the first time to Disneyland during the Christmas season, it now looks like my work schedule is going to prohibit me from doing so and it seems like it's going to be a painfully long wait to go back to the magical land.

Now I can only come here and live out the vacation that never was through everyone's exciting posts!

That's too bad. But don't worry, you'll make it until your next trip. We had to wait about 5-6 years to get back to DLR because of first buying our house and then DS was born with multiple medical issues (we couldn't go anywhere, let alone DLR!). But we made it through the "dry" period. We survived and you will too!

I feel your pain!! I had one of those it-just-wasn't-meant-to-be moments in September when we were all set to go but couldn't at the last minute. So now I'm planning a February trip that I am sooooooo looking forward to. Think of it this way....before you know it Christmas 2009 will be here and gone and your trip will be over BUT NOW you can have all the fun of planning a trip for next year and you have that to look forward to! I know that doesn't help but trust me it gets easier!!

Oh man, I know this feels......we had a 6 month lapse between APs and we won't be renewing in Jan....so yes, I know exactly how this feels. Just keep visiting us here and it will help.

APs expired 1-3-2010, the girls are still good until 2-6-2010 but we have no plans for a visit before they expire. No plans for our next visit, it will be 2011 or 2012 before we head back. We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.

Oh no! That's awful! I'm so sorry!

I don't think there's anything huge and new for Christmas this year, and I am sure that anything important that IS at Christmas this year will be there next year and the year after that. (At least, that's what I told myself about missing Halloweentime. ) I love keeping up on park news even when I can't go, too; it's almost a little like being there.

Anyway, like others have said, Disneyland will be waiting for you whenever you are able to go again.

Thank you guys for understanding my disappointment, I knew this was the right place for this kind of therapy

Everyone is so nice here and I will definitely hang out and live through others experiences until my inevitable trip back to the happiest place on earth! Thanks for listening to my sad rant.

How do you actually listen to podcasts?
Storytellers was the most fun (thanks to the hilarious 'park ranger')
