Sharing a Photopass CD with Friends...NOT FOR A SHARE Just a Question:)
My coworker will be at Disney about a week prior to me. She got her documents today and I thought maybe we could all do the Photopass cd preorder and then all put our cards on the same cd and split the cost. I have never done the cd before. How would this work? Do we need to wait to put all of our cards on Photopass before we request the cd?? I assume we will all need to have our cropping and borders finished too.
I just think this would be a smart way for us all to save money since we will practically be there at the same time. Thanks! Kelsi |

Check this budget board - there was a coupon code for 25% off Photopass orders.
Then one of you will preorder the photopass CD. You will set up a sign in name and password on the site and buy it. You will receive an email with a very important order code on it. SAVE THIS EMAIL. Go to Disney and have fun - even if it's separate weeks. Keep all of your photopass cards - I would take a picture of each one, too, in case they get lost. When you both get back, you will need to log in to Photopass and enter your card id numbers. Remember, you both need to sign into photopass on the one ID and password that you used to preorder the CD. When you put in your card numbers, you'll get the chance to edit, etc. Your friend will do the same. I don't remember how long you have to do it all, I believe 3 weeks. Use your purchase code and order the CD. When it comes, just make a copy of the CD for your friend, or vice versa. It's really simple - just follow the directions they give and make sure you both use the same account to enter your card numbers. |

Just another note on the timing - you have to order the CD from Disney within 30 days of entering your first photopass numbers. You will get an email from Disney before that 30 days is up, saying that some of your photos are about to expire. As long as you order before that 30 days is up, you're good!

Are there any discounts if you purchase the CD in the park? Seems like I have read of people getting it a lot cheaper that way. Considering we are just 3 people, I can't justify $150 for 30 pictures.
