Recent Stay at Poly 11/1 - 11/6
Thanks to all the advice on these boards, the family had a great stay at Poly last week. We had switched our res from WL to Poly, basically since we found a deal that made the price only slightly more. It was worth it!
We stayed 3rd fl at Samoa. Great convenience to everything. We'll definitely stay here again! Feel free to ask any questions. |

We are staying there in May....can hardly wait. Did you eat at Ohanas for breakfast or dinner? Was wondering how your experience was.

My sister is trying to talk me into staying at Poly. She says with a 2yo, the convenience of the monorail can't be beat. What did you think?

If budget allows I would love to stay at the Poly my next trip to WDW. I recently toured all the deluxe resorts and POLY was my favorite.

Your sister is right! The first year we went as a family, we had a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We only went to MK and Epcot, so the monorail was a godsend. We stayed at the WL last year. It was beautiful, and I love taking the boat. But the monorail was so so easy. Depending on the boat you get, you have to fold up the stroller. So if anyone is asleep, you have to get 'em up. I also found being able to take the monorail back for naps to be insanely convenient.

Did you try eating at Captain Cook's and if so what did you think of it?

We did not eat there. Between Chef Mickey's, 1900, Crystal Palace, etc., we burned through a number of meals and simply had quick service for breakfast.

As stated by another, you can't beat the convenience. We had a stroller, and the monorail made it easy coming and going. We were in MK 3 times during the week, so it was a breeze. In addition, we had dinners at GF and Cont.
