Does anyone know if there is still a AAA discount at W. of Disney in Downtown Disney? - The DIS Discussion Forums

With the Diamond AAA card that we got for booking our trip thru AAA it was available. I'm not sure if it works with just showing your AAA membership card? And dumb me with over $500 worth of purchases on our departure day forgot to use it

I ask every single place every day, every purchase anymore. I found even at Payless a discount. I had a book I picked up a AAA, not sure where it is. Maybe online or a call to AAA if no one recalls.

I can not remember for certain, but I think I did get a discount in the Disney shop DTD.
I know I asked at every place I went and did receive discount frequently.

Also, anyone traveling to Disney, Poppa Johns has a $2 off discount and delivers. There are several in all areas of Disney. Print coupons before you leave.

The delivary is great the first night arrival, have them bring cold soda paper products and a peacefull settle in dinner. More then Pizza too.
This is a first night tradition for us. No brainer thinking for whats for supper where to go that day.....unless we are at the Park.

Are you talking about a discount at the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney? I didn't even know that they ever had a AAA discount....oh, don't even want to think about the missed savings....

When we were there this past Sept, I asked one of the CM's at the World of Disney Store in DD. You only get the discount if you booked your vacation thru AAA. If you have a Disney Visa, I think you get a small discount for purchases totaling more than 50? I'm pretty sure that's what he told me as well.

We booked for 2010 with AAA & were told the Diamond card discount is still part of the package.

anyone know for sure? We tried to use our AP, DVC discount at TWOD and were told NO discounts. I have a AAA card

I need that 10% off it pays the tax

I'm confused, because we used our A/P for a discount this past June.

This is from www.allears.net A/P - World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace - 10% off merchandise for Passholder only. Discount not available on purchase of Disney gift certificates, Disney Gift Cards, Disney Dollars, videos, food items, film, film processing, Walt Disney Classics Collection and other select merchandise. Discount also not available at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Discount not available on purchases of merchandise in Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

I have a AAA Diamond Card and AP. Both are good for 10% off at the World of Disney. Just used both last month.

we just returned saturday and when we were there last week I asked about the AAA discount. The lady at the counter said only AAA diamond members get the discount....not the basic AAA members. doesnt make sense to me
