I need to ask for more prayers please - The DIS Discussion Forums

Karissa has been getting dizzy spells recently, I called her doc and she said next time she has one to get a pulse read. She had another "episode" a little while ago and while I couldnt get a decent read I put my hand on her chest and it felt like she had just run a mile. I called the Doc and she immediately scheduled her for an EKG for tomorrow morning.

They think she is having seizures which is a new development. They arent sure if its her heart or something else. If they dont find a problem there we are back to neurologist for an EEG.

Could you describe her dizzy spells in more detail? The reason I ask is because my DH suffers from lone atrial afibrulation. When it occurs his heart races and bounces around and causes his blood pressure to bottom out and get dizzy, etc. I just thought I would throw this out there as a possibility. An EKG will not pick it up either, unless his heart is actually in afib while he is hooked up. Good luck and prayers for your daughter.
