Last Morning Breakfast...Please Help Explain - The DIS Discussion Forums

So, as I understand it, we will have breakfast on the last morning in the same restaurant we ate the night before. We have main dining so that means a VERY early breakfast. What happens if we show up to breakfast late? Will we be turned away?? We don't have any other breakfast options, do we??

You only choice if you don't go to early breakfast woul be to go to the Buffet for breakfast. But even that stops serving at around 8:30-9:00 (I'm not sure of the exact time.)

YOu may not show up late becuase they have only a very little time to get early dining in and out and then get the late diners through. You CAN have breakfast at the buffet up on deck 9 if you are too late.

You can't get room service, but the buffet is open

You do need to check teh navigator to see what time it quits serving. I can't remember (but someone will probably come along and post it for you

) but it is later than the early breakfast

If your a little late it doesn't really matter, just a couple miniutes I guess is what your saying? It wont matter you wont get kicked out!

Reality, they won't kick you out. However, the last morning breakfast is on a very tight schedule and it is rude to your servers and the second seating guests to not get there on time. If you don't like your assigned time (say you have a late flight and don't want to get off the ship till 9), you can eat at the buffet. Buffet serving ends PROMPTLY at 8:30, and you won't be allowed into the line after that.

We saw a couple with main dining show up for late breakfast--they just decided that was OK as they had a late flight.....the head server scrambled and found them a place to sit, but it clearly upset the plan! Of course, there are people who don't show up for late breakfast as they need to be off the ship early--again, their option is the buffet.

We went to the buffet since we didn't want to get up that early and as I recall there were not as many items on the line as the other days. It was fine though.

ON the last morning, there are not as many items in the dining rooms or on the buffet as normal...and basically special orders other than allergy issues are very difficult to fill. Still, it's MUCH better than a year or two ago, and it quite adequate. You won't get off the ship hungry.

Excellent point.

Yes the buffet on deck 9 aft is open on the last morning. Its still a very good selection but not as much as the other days.

That entire area in the back between the two lines has nothing. No omelet station, muesli, etc.

True--but as Kcashner points out the menu at the sit down place is also very limited on the last morning.
