Just back and we were staying beside Wet and Wild, so quite close to Universal - we were $45 from our hotel to hollywood studios (this includes the fee to get into hollywood studios of $14 and tip) and from Downtown Disney to our hotel it was $30.
This is with City Cabs (yellow cabs), our hotel would order us abc taxi's which were several dollars more expensive unless we said otherwise. There were 4 of us. Hope this kind of helps!

An alternative is to use Mears shuttle which used to be $16 pp return. We have used it a few times, it is basically a Mears mini bus that picks you up from the hotel and may make other pickups on the way to SW/Uni etx. You give them a call a couple of hours before you want to return and they bring you back. You can ring the noght before to arrange a pick up for the following day.

The reason I keep returning to WDW is the atmosphere, the beauty, the sheer joy of immersing yourself in the WDW experience and this is why i will travel thousands of miles and spend thousands of Pounds/Dollars until I am no longer able.
