Argh! Unofficial levels changed

So...I'm heading down on Friday and today the Unoffical Tour Guide changed the levels of the crowds. Both Saturday's now being 8's and Monday at a 7. I'm leaving next Saturday around 2pm, so I'm not too concerned about that day but this coming Saturday worries me.

Is it truly that crowded down there? Any reports would be appreciated!

This is exactly the reason I don't pay any attention to projected crowd levels. We make a general game plan (without taking any projections into account) and that's about it. We see what we can, use Fastpasses advantageously and just go with the flow. I've been going since the first year the MK was open and have always done it this way. We always get to ride everything we want to, see all the shows we want to and we always have a nice, relaxed vacation.

So, IMO, don't worry about it. The parks are going to be as busy as they are going to be. Just go and have a great time!

Not down there now, but this was to be expected when they extended park hours and F! showings. I see they've now increased the levels for Thanksgiving week from 7s to 8s--my only surprise is that they're "only" 8s, given the changes to the WDW calendar.

I figure we'll be OK so long as we follow normal protocol for large crowds--rope drop, proper use of FP, have a plan.

Good news is it looks like the weather is going to be fantastic!! low 80's high 70's during the day and 50's and 60's at night.

Bummer - luckily I think we have a good plan for both high crowd days - AK on Saturday and Epcot on Monday. It's just extra incentive to make sure we see Spectro and Wishes on Wednesday (tomorrow) as Saturday and Monday (the other Spectro/Wieshes days) both look like days to avoid MK. We will be doing DHS on Sunday which is probably not the wisest choice.

I hate it when this stuff changes so close to our trip!!! Oh well, I'm going to stick with our original plans. We are going to MK on Saturday just for a little while after we check in, I just have to see the castle on the first day. Some of the other best parks have changed while we are there too, but it's too hard to change ADR's and such now and we don't have park hoppers.

The weather does look great though! I was worried about that! Last year it was too cold to swim, so my kids will be happy!

Quite few days changed for our trip but they actually changed for the better. Still I'll have to make some adjustments before I make my ADR's soon and then I'll leave it alone till we leave.

Weds, Dec. 16th - Is that the only weeknight that offers Spectro?

I would venture to say it would be crowded this weekend with mostly locals, since it is the first full weekend of the Holiday activities that started on the 10th of November.

All the better if the weather is good!

Maybe...not sure. But the whole week is 4/5 and a random 8 that wed , seems ODD..

We are coming in on Saturday too, my daughter, who has never been, really wants to go to Magic Kingdom the first day. So I think we are going to suck it up and just go. As for rides, well we will see what we can do, but I won't stress too much as we can hit them another day.

I'm just wondering if it's really going to be crowded (8). It seems the past few weeks the crowds have been light.

If all the locals could do me a favor and stay home until 11/21 after 4:40 pm when I depart MCO, I would be happy (just kidding...come out and play)

My daughter works in HS at ToT. She told me last night that it is so slow that Disney is giving cast members days off. No wait at RnR or ToT more than 20 minutes for the last several days. I guess it could still change but she tells me it has been slow for weeks.
