UG wait times for what crowd level?

I know a DISer will be able to save me a bunch of time searching. When looking at wait times for rides and shows, what crowd levels is the Unofficial Guide using? We will see crowd levels from 4 to 7 during our trip.

Thanks!

The crowd levels are based on Magic Kingdom crowds for that date. If you choose a park that is not recommended, your wait times are higher.

Hmmm ... I didn't phrase the question well. Sorry!

Looking at the *book* (and yes, I do have the web access, despite the fact that I bought the 2010 book expecting it to be free and had to pay) there are wait times and attraction times. I'm wondering what crowd level the *book* wait times are based on. 5?

Anyone?

They aren't based on a specific crowd level, they are averages.

I don't really understand what you mean by wait time given in the book? It does not really have wait times listed for attractions? It offers recommendations on when to visit and then it gives information on the average wait time per 100 people in front of you.

If you are asking about the recommendations on when to visit, I think they are valid unless you have a day of crowd leven 4 or lower. I have been to WDW on corwd level 5 and 6 days and those attractions you should visit before 10 am will have lines by 10 am, perhaps not a 60 minute wait, but still quite long. Hope this helps!

She isn't talking about the crowd calendar. There is a section of the book that lists the attractions with average wait times. The two are completely separate.

Yes, I understand that the OP is talking about the book, I was referring to the book. But I have never seen a list of wait times in the book. But there is a list of recommended visitation times just as I wrote. I have read the book from cover to cover several times and don't recall a list with specific wait times. I even got the 2010 book out just now and rechecked and can't find a list! And the OP specifically asked for what crowd levels the wait times were based on mentioning: "crowd levels from 4 to 7" - I guess that must refer to the crowd calendar.
