Moms middle initial missing on documents? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi,
just got my documents

I noticed my moms is missing her middle initial....does it matter?????? I'm pretty sure it is on her passport.

Just call DCL or let your TA call (if you have one) and just let DCL know. They will note it in their records but doubtful they would send you new docs. As long as you let them know (get the name of the CM you talk to on the phone) you should be fine.

I can tell you that it did not matter for us last month. I did not include anyone's middle names or initials on our reservation. Of 5 of our passports, 2 of us had a middle initial on the passport and 2 of us had full middle names on the passport. Neither Southwest nor DCL commented on it in any way.

I think as long as the first and last name and date of birth of the person on the passport matches the first and last name and the date of birth listed for the person on the reservation, DCL can be certain it is one and the same person. But, of course, you probably should call DCL and check if for no other reason than to give yourself peace of mind on the issue!
