If you want the "romance" of a boat ride you can park in the MK parking lot and take the ferry to the MK dock. There are smaller boats to WL/FW. I has seen that here is some variability in thier ability to handle mobity devices so hopefully someone with more knowlege can provide that guidance.

That's what I was looking for, bookwormde. You know, when you actually NEED to find the info you have no idea where it is! Eh, we'll figure it out.

If you want to get to Fort Wilderness by boat, then yes, you need to park at the TTC, then monorail or ferry over to Magic Kingdom. Then you would take the boat from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness, then a short walk from the marina to Pioneer Hall. YES, this boat is accessibile!!!

HOWEVER, getting back to TTC may be a problem if you are at one of the later Hoop De Doos if the MK closes early. There is no easy accessible way to the TTC if the MK is closed.

What you could do is have one person in your party, after dropping the rest of you at the TTC is drive the vehicle over to Fort Wilderness. (Use the public day lot). Then that person can take a Yellow, Purple, or Orange Settlement bus to get to Pioneer Hall.

OR you could all take your car over to Ft. Wilderness, but get there a couple of hours before the Hoop De Doo, then take a bus to Settlement, then proceed to the marina and take a round trip boat ride to Magic Kingdom, OR if your person in an ECV can walk a few yards, you could leave the ECV parked near the marina buildings and take a roundtrip boat ride to Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge, then back to the Fort.

I think we're good tonight, MK is open until midnight for MVMCP.

Thanks VERY much!

Well I wanted to share that tonight was a huge success!! We parked in the TTC lot and my dad used his scooter. We took the ferry from TTC to the Magic Kingdom, and then the smaller ferry to Fort Wilderness. The launches are running until 1am tonight since it's a MVMCP evening. After the 7:15 Hoop De Doo show (which we all loved, btw), we took the ferry back to the Magic Kingdom. The MVMCP fireworks started about the time we cast off from Fort Wilderness, and we also saw the electrical water parade as it went past the Wilderness Lodge. Both were beautiful! The fireworks concluded just a minute before we docked at the MK. Then we took the express monorail back to the TTC parking lot.

It worked out so well! Thanks for the tips, I'm glad we went by water instead of bus, we'd never have seen the fireworks!!
