We are going on the Magic, Jan 23 2010. I was wondering about character tea, where do you sign up? Who is there? What day is it on?

Go to guest services. Tickets are free. It's Alice & The Mad Hatter. On our Eastern cruise I believe it was on the Thursday.

Sign up with Guest SErvices on deck 3. Check the Navigator's that are posted in the FAQ's to see what sea day it is typically offered.

We had tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter on our Magic Cruise. We got tickets at the Guest Services counter after we boarded the Magic. I got their early in case they ran out of tickets, but the tea was not full! It is cute. There are plenty of other opportunities to see characters, including a character breakfast.

It will be on 2 sea days. As above, get tickets on day one at Guest Services. Sometimes it's full, sometimes not....and then there are the people who get tickets and decide not to use them. If this happens, PLEASE turn in the tickets, even if it is at the door of the event. GS does keep a waiting list for people who didn't get tickets.
On our May cruise, I never imagined that my girls would want to go...by the time I found out that they wanted to, there were no tickets available. Later, one of my Dis board buddies said she wished she had known....she had 5 tickets they decided not to use. Had she turned them in, SOMEONE could have used them. Yes, there are other opportunities to see characters, but this is fun for the younger set. |

It's done in Parrot Cay, but I don't remember if it's the morning after you dine there or the morning of your dinner seating in there that night. |

The primary problem with America is stupidity. Maybe we should just take all the warning labels off and let the problem solve itself.

You're servers will let you know about your character breakfast, so no worries there. The Tea is held at Studio Sea. We had Alice, Mad Hatter, and March Hare when we went. We were on the Western, and had a choice of 2 days for our tea. We chose the 2nd day, and it was about 3/4 full. It was very cute, and well worth the time to go to it.
