My DD will be turning 8 right after Christmas. Her "big" gift from Santa will be an American Girl doll (Felicity) to add to her collection. My kids write a letter to Santa and can ask for 3 things. One "big ticket" (or E ticket) item and 2 small things.

She also wants a fashion design DS game, and pretty much anything else that is "girly". She is easy to buy for, it's her twin brother that is more difficult....

My dd (8 in December) wants a guitar. Has also asked for some legos and that's all she's asked for so far. She's not making it easy!

My DD8 is getting some american girl furniture and outfits (Grandma and Grandpa are giving her Rebecca, she has 2 other dolls), Battleship, Connect 4x4, and Guess Who (the new version) games, Tink movie from Santa. We give her clothes (pajamas, etc) and maybe a couple books.

She might get some chixos from an Aunt.

We're lucky, she's pretty easy to buy for.

And I still eat raw cookie dough-oatmeal raisin-I figure the fiber counteracts the samonella.

Zhu Zhu pets from Santa (after I already wrapped the darn things from us), TSM & another wii game from us, some movies, DS game, and stocking stuffers. Only child, so I tend to get her a bit much.

My dd is 8 and is getting AG doll Chrissa,an outfit and pj's for it,pixos studio, liv girl doll and hair salon, some bakugans, babies in my pocket little set,AG pj's for her to match the doll, tinkerbell movie, probably a lego set and maybe dsi and a game. This is from her Grandparents and Aunt besides me-I do all the shopping and they pay and wrap! She is getting a baby brother this year for xmas too so she is being spoiled-gonna be a big adjustment to not be an only child anymore. She loves anything crafty and she likes all those food maker things but I think they are a pain. The American girl doll is the big thing from me-she has wanted one for a few years and this will be her first.

My DD (Rebecca -10yrs) is also getting the Rebecca Rubin doll, but the mini version as she is not that into dolls, but I couldn't resist.

My 7 year old DD has everything so I bought her a Pandora bracelet this year (actually got the bracelet for free when I bought $100 worth of charms). She's obsessed with mine and I bought charms for Easter, Valentines Day, First Communion, etc. so now they're done too. Also lucked out on all the ZhuZhu pets stuff.

My 8 year old dd has asked for an i-pod, webkinz, and AG Chrissa doll. I've ordered a re-furbished nano from apple (on-line) and will probably order the AG doll this weekend. I'll proably get her a few more smaller things, but the i-pod and doll will be her biggest gifts.

My dd is 7 and she'll be getting some CD's, Harumika fashion sets, clothes, and jewelry. Not sure yet what her big present will be. I'll be watching this thread to see what others are getting and maybe I'll get an idea.
