Booked the Dream this morning - Woo-Hoo

Just wanted to share that I booked the Dream this morning using points. I called MS at 8:45 a.m., was on hold for about 30 minutes, and my CM was absolutely wonderful and patiently answered all my questions and got me booked. The booking process took about 30 minutes to complete also (I had to bank and borrow some points in the process but leave myself enough points for my 2010 trip) but my CM was so great and double and triple checked everything with me. She made my day!!

I know - how nice would that be. Maybe when DVC Hawaii opens that will be an option.

Congrats!!!

I am booked too!! And I have to say, it is sooooo nice to know that we have a cruise booked that is totally paid for This was our first time using points to cruise and I think it is great that we members are able to book the new ships!!! I agree, it was easy and I did not have to put $1600 down for the Maiden Voyage

I think I am going to start sending money to my cruise account for tips and excursions.

Wow..last night I was just looking at 5 night cruises with 2 stops at CC. I mentioned to DH that I think that if we do another DCL after the one next year, it would have to stop at CC twice and it would be in 2011. I'm sorry I had no idea that that was what the excitement about MS being opened early today was about.

I totally agree with you. People say that using points for cruising is a waste, but I just paid $95 for a Disney cruise. Essentially, I already have a $2000+ stateboard credit. I hope you enjoy your cruise too.

The Dream cruises are crazy cheap (well, cheap for Disney). We were looking at doing the 5 nighter on the Wonder (with 2 stops at CC) in 2010 but decided to wait for the prices for the Dream (thinking they were probably going to be laughably expensive). I'm so glad we waited - - this way, we get the new ship and it costs less points.
