Band Hero vs. Beatles Rock Band. - The DIS Discussion Forums

We have the aerosmith guitar hero and the kids seems to enoy it, but don't play it a tremendous amount. I was originally thinking of getting Beatles Rock Band, but my kids are 6, 8, & 15 (all girls) and I think my husband and I would appreciate that more than the kids, so now I'm thinking about Band Hero.

Opinions?

At that age, I'd go for Band Hero. The set list is more "kid friendly" than the other Guitar Hero games, but there is still a good variety of bands. I haven't bought the Beatles yet, but unless your girls know their songs, I think they'd probably enjoy Band Hero more.

They also might enjoy Lego Rock Band. From all I've read, it offers a lot of good features for kids.

My DD13 requested the Beatles Rock Band for her birthday and was a little dissapointed that it did not include Jude, her favorite. She has since requested Band Hero for Christmas! If I had kids the age of yours, I'd go with Band Hero.

I'd go with Band Hero. DD (9) saw Taylor Swift playing it on tv the other night and now its on her list. DS (7) wants Lego Rock Band. Maybe we can wish and all 3 new games will go on a bundle sale, I want the beatles
