Tip for Splash Mountain Fans
I got to ride Splash Mountain 3 times in a row, twice without getting out of the boat, on my last trip.
I went about an hour before Wishes started on an EMH night, and it was fairly chilly outside. There was no wait, and after I got off and ran through the exit and back through the line to ride again, the ride operator figured I was a huge fan and just started asking if I wanted to ride again. It's a nice view from the ride at night, and it was kind of cool watching them take some boats off the ride since they didn't need them. If Splash Mountain is your laughin' place and you want to ride with no wait, put on your poncho and head over on a chilly night. |

This is my most favorite and I love riding Splash when the fireworks are on and all the buildings are lit. It's magical, just like Disney World is meant to be.

Can you hear the music from Splash Mountain? Or am I wrong?

I really don't remember.
![]() I'm pretty sure all I heard was the noise of the fireworks and the Splash soundtrack.

We actually did the ride 6 times in a row without getting out of the log. It was at Christmas, but it was rainy and cold, so very few people were riding it. We just kept going round and round.

Oh, and I forgot to mention I could see the Spectromagic floats from the ride too. It was fabulous!

I love splash mountain! I've never ridden it at night before though, so I'm going to give that a try next time.

Yes! I agree with OPs advice. One of my family's favorite memories is riding Splash at night. Seeing the lights is amazing - right as you reach the top of the hill and then . . .aaaaahhhhhhhhh! So much fun! This was a great way to end our day at MK.

Splash Mountain is one of my favorite rides, too. Our last trip was the first time I'd ridden it during the fireworks, though. It really is awesome! I love being up there around that turn on top outside and seeing those fireworks. Very cool! Great tip!
