CS - Kringla Bakeri og Cafe

What can I get for 1 adult CS at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Norway?

Can I get the soup with sandwich (Kringla Daily Chef Selection - Gourmet sandwich served with a cup of soup) and still get a dessert option?

Thanks!

Yes, we've done this alot. Only one time did the CM question it, but the guy at the cash register told her that people on the DDP can get a cup of soup, any sandwich, and any dessert, plus a large soda. I believe the Chef Selection you are talking about only lists like three of their desserts but when we asked, we were told that with the DDP you can get any of the desserts. I know we've gotten school bread, fruit tarts, pretzels, and cloudberry horns with it.

We've done the soup/sandwich/dessert option there before. Our experience: soup and dessert were very good, sandwich was not. We prefer to have lunch at Sunshine Seasons or Tangerine Cafe, and later we stop at Norway and use our snack credit for the school bread.

I did this about two weeks ago and they offered the soup without my asking.
I was not interested and they gave me a double espresso in place of the soup.
They use real coffee, not instant Nescafe. I had to wait well they reloaded the coffee beans.

The sandwich was very good. Nice nutty brown toasted bread and nice quality black forest type ham.
They have one of those machines like subway to quickly heat and toast the sandwich.

The crème horn (Drangonberry Horn) was also excellent.
I wanted to try to schoolbread, but when I looked at it it did not appeal to me.

I would highly recommend this as a CS.

If the soup is served WITH the sandwich and one price covers both, it's a combo meal. You can get that plus dessert on DDP.
