In Orlando: Let's Dish, Meal Makers, kind of places?

I'm thinking of getting a condo instead of staying onsite to try to save money, but this is my vacation too, so I don't want to cook. Are there any of those places where you go assemble 6 meals and take them home to freeze? What are the names so I can see if they sell pre-assembled meals for a little more.

That would be great to come home and just pop a homemade meal in the oven or saute on the stove, instead of another $75 restaurant bill.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? TIA!

I know what you are talking about. Here there is one called Dream Dinners.

But..for vacation, I would simply stop into Publix. They have some really good menu items that are already pre-made that you can just heat and eat.

Some other things we do are:

Rotisserie chicken with a bag of caesear salad.
Frozen meatballs in a crockpot with a bag salad
Some really good bread, wine and cheese and I'm in heaven!
Fried chicken
Tacos
Steak on the grill with a baked potato and salad

None of these take more than a few minutes to prepare and I would imagine they would be cheaper than the make a meal places...but I don't know.

Hope this helps! And I'm sure you'll get some other really good suggestions on here.

Have a great trip!

Sadly, this is my home cooking, LOL! I sure don't want to stare down another rotisserie chicken on vacation! I am the queen of semi-homemade, only it's mostly premade semi-homemade!

I'll look into Dream Dinners. I found another one on Google called Let's Eat. They do delivery too for an extra $35. Each meal (if they make it) is around $26 (steaks, pork chops, crab cakes, chicken marsala, neat things!). That is less than KFC for us! And beats the pants off $75 + 2 hours of our night.

I'm thinking the other nice thing will be relaxing by the pool (heated) or hot tub, or just getting the kids to bed somewhat early and chilling in a nice big 3 bdrm townhouse. VERY different from the 360 s.f. moderate hotel room we're used to...

There is also a place called Magical Mealtime - I have never used them but they are not too far from Disney. It says on their website they do vacation meals?!!?! Just another option you might want to look into ...

Oops - never mind. I got interested in their site and realized they have gone out of business....

And I still eat raw cookie dough-oatmeal raisin-I figure the fiber counteracts the samonella.

What about Costco? They have either Frozen Entrees or Freshly made, pop in the oven dinners.

I LOVE Let's Eat. The store by me closed and it was the only one in the state. There food is always fresh, nothing frozen. Let's Dish freezes meats, veggies, etc but Let's Eat is a stickler for fresh meat and fresh ingredients. Some of their meals are a bit more complicated than Let's Dish but the people at the store can help you and they are very nice.

There was supposed to be a Let's Eat open in Celebration. The mgr at my local store gave me the Celebration store owners card and I lost it. I've never had a bad meal from Let's Eat. I highly recommend them.
