Will I like Grand Floridian Cafe?

I'm thinking of trying the GFC for an upcoming trip. I've only read a few reviews but they've all been fairly positive. But it's just not a resort with a lot of press. Can you share the good bad and ugly?

We have lunch there every trip and wouldn't miss it. Our daughter loves the signature sandwich. There's a nice variety of sandwiches, salads and entrees at lunch.

We ate breakfast there and thought it was great. The service was really good, and they put us right by the window. We were very pleased.

We've eaten both breakfast and dinner at GF Cafe. IMO it's a hidden gem! We loved our meals here, really delish. I don't think you can go wrong here. And it's so darn pretty inside.

We had an unexpected dinner there, and I think part of the charm is that there *isn't* a lot said about it. It's pretty, quiet, and very good food. It made for a relaxing evening.

we've had dinner there on three different trips - experience was very good each time (had the shrimp pasta, the steak, the burger, and salads)--not the best restaurant ad wdw but a very solid, good meal - a definite thumbs up!

Had lunch there last trip, and dinner the trip before. GFC is fast becoming a favorite for us

GFC is probably my favorite location at WDW, hands down.

Okay, you talked me into it. We'll be going there in May without a doubt. Thanks for the recommendations.

We have had breakfast once and several lunches there- always tasty, good service and after eating we like to walk around the hotel and soak up the atmosphere. Hope you like it as much as we do!

One of our hidden gems. The fondue dessert is so yummy. We've eaten there for all meals and they were all good.

Other hidden gems include Olivia's at Old Key West and for breakfast the Captain's Table at the Yacht Club. They have a very nice non-character buffet or off the menu ordering. Very good food.
