Need help with transportation from train

Does anyone have any suggestions?

We were first going to drive down on Nov 28 to Disney, stay cheaply offsite for the first night, then check in at the Pop the following morning. We have now decided to take the train. We will now leave on the 27th and arrive on the 28th. Does anyone have any ideas of how to cheaply get 8 people from the train station to a local offsite hotel, then get over to downtown Disney for shopping, back to the offsite hotel, then ober to the Pop the following morning?

Thanks for any suggestions!!

I was going to suggest taking a taxi van from the train station over to the airport and then DME to the Disney resort, but your plan seems far more complicated.

A rental car (van) for the first day or two seems to be the best way to go IMHO. I'm not sure what's near the train station, there isn't very much info online that I've found discussing the stations or the amenities.

I'd just take a taxi for each leg. Book your reservation to the Kissimmee station - it's a bit closer to Disney, and MANY of the less-expensive offsite hotels on 192 - than the Orlando station and it's not as busy.

Book your return trip from this station as well. Far fewer passengers board here, and you'll have a better selection of seats (if you don't have specific seat assignments) and time to get settled before the masses arrive.
