Silly Question- Drinks for kids

I'm bringing my 2 1/2 year old, who is not yet drinking right from a cup. When you buy a drink from one of the snack stands, how do they package a child's drink? Is it a juice box, a bottle, or a cup with a straw?

*Also- can you bring your own into the park? I was thinking about bringing little snacks for DS and possibly some juice boxes.

1- Depends on the restaurant and the meal.

2- Absolutely. As much as you want. (No GLASS containers, however.)

you can bring your own food and drinks..usually they dont want glass bottles(least they dont wta the water parks)

some of the drinks come as juice boxes, some as little milk bottles and sodas in cups or bottles

I always carried straws with me just in case.

I want to say most places were a cup with a straw.

Yes, we brought our own juice boxes in our stuff. I froze those tiny juicy juice ones and put them in ziplocs so I didn't have to constantly buy drinks.

I don't recall anywhere not giving us a kid cup with a lid and straw. However, if it will be a major ordeal to not have it, I'd bring my own. (The milk does come in bottles at counter service.)

You could bring a sippy cup (if it's plastic) and pour the drinks into that.

No straws in AK allowed. Not even those attached to boxes.

When my daughter was little, we always brought sippy cups from home...we had the kind with a strap so we could hang it from the stroller..a lot less spilling than a regular cup with a lid.

We have a DD2, and they mostly gave us cups w/ straws. Actually in AK, we got a few paper straws (of course we were responsible and disposed of them properly.) We didn't even bother with sippies this time, we just did the cup/lid/straw thing. Not a problem whatsoever. I do think the Pop food court has juice boxes, though... I don't remember there being juice boxes in the parks, and at one point we wanted one to take w/ us!

HTH!

We also found that if you are staying in a place with a ref/freezer that frozen grapes are VERY refreshing on a warm day!

We also bought a lid for the top of a water bottle that snaps on, like a sippy cup top because we did not want to carry around a sippy all day--I used the bagallini and was trying not to carry too much stuff.
Here is a link to show what I am talking about, I picked it up at our local grocery store

That's not been the case at DAK for months (maybe a year, now.)

They offer paper straws for drinks there (just not plastic.)
