We will be attending the
MVMCP for the first time in Dec. Just wondering what is the best *plan* for dining during a party?1. Is it better to make a TS for someplace in MK around 3:00, then eat a CS in the park during the party or are the CS places crazy busy? 2. Or should we make a TS in MK during the party hours (seems like that would take up too much Party time)?3. Or should we try a TS at one of the monorail resorts an hour or so before the party starts and just worry about *snacks* during the party?Looking to keep my peeps from getting hungry but avoid wasting time away from the party. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I would try to get a late lunch at one of the monorail resorts, FW or WL, then do CS at the party. It's much easier to kind of "snack" your way around during the event. They do have only limited CS places open during the party, but I've never had trouble getting food.

We've got an ADR for LTT for 4:00 p.m. for our MVMCP (our arrival day). It's going to be nuts, because it's the last MVMCP.

party - It's the latest time I could get that day without going into the dinner menu (DH has no interest in the dinner there). I think it will work out ok for us...as usual I am over-analyzing everything.

DD and I did CS for lunch at our resort and then a CS supper at Cosmic Rays at 5pm.
Then we had a few snacks during the party - big pretzels, popcorn, DD got some chicken nuggets from a snack place in Frontierland whose name escapes me right now. It worked well for us and that's when I discovered that I liked the grilled chicken plate at Cosmic Rays. Yum. |

The CS places are crazy early on. But do try to eat early and get it over with.
We somehow managed to miss part of the fireworks last year trying to eat at Cosmic Ray's. I still don't really know how that happened. I guess we just got caught up and forgot to eat.

For MNSSHP, we ate at Kona Cafe for breakfast and then The Plaza for late lunch/early dinner at 4:30pm. We didn't snack at all during the party and actually didn't grab anything else to eat until 11:45pm when we started to walk up Main Street to leave when DH and I split a corndog nugget from Casey's.
This plan worked out really well for us, so much so that we are doing the same thing for MVMCP in December. We have a 9:30 reservation for Kona, a 4:15pm reservation for The Plaza and then we'll grab something quick (if needed) during the party if we get hungry. Good luck and have fun!

We have a 1:45 lunch reservation at CP the day of the party. That night, we'll probably try to either grab a quick CS or snack so we don't waste time.

On party day, we will spend the daytime touring the resorts and looking at decorations - have a bigger late lunch somewhere along the way (2-3 pm or so) - we are staying CL, so we are planning on having a couple of snacks in the lounge right before we leave for the party (probably around 5 or 6) and then if we want a snack at the party, we'll do that...

Our plan is to eat a late breakfast then we have an ADR for 4:15 at the Plaza. Hopefully this won't take up too much party time.

We have no ADRs for that day. For some reason I don't think we're going to go hungry at MK

We have 1/1:30 ADRs for lunch (us at GF Cafe, parents at Kona) before the party and will probably try to grab a CS at MK before the official start of MVMCP. During the party, I'm sure we'll grab a snack or 2 (besides the free hot cocoa and cookies).
