Walk to HS?
Is there a resort in walking distance to HS that has a designated path to get there?

Swan, Dolphin, BW and YC/BC all are within walking distance to DSH with a path to get there.

There is a path from DHS to the Epcot resorts (BW/BWV, Y&BC/BCV, S/D). This image from a fellow DISer shows the path. Distances are listed at the bottom.

Are these paths marked as such and easy to follow?

Yes, definately. There are clear signs pointing to the path to DHS and other places as well (if the path splits). I've done the walk many, many times and have never had trouble.

Thanks for all the answers! We are thinking of doing a quick trip in December to see the Osborne Family Lights and I thought it would be fun if we could walk from a resort. Now I know where to try and stay! We've only stayed on Disney property once, so I'm not at all familiar with the different resorts.

I find the Boardwalk Villas to be the most convenient Disney resort for walking to DHS. Some people complain about the long hallways there, but if you're near the end of the hall, you're halfway to DHS already

There is also a boat that will get you there, it is a nice little boat ride.
