Mantle scarves...where to find NON lace ones? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I figured here would be a good place to ask...

I am wanting a holiday, preferably burgundy, mantle scarf to go above the fireplace. I google it and only get these frilly lace ones...not what I'm wanting. I did find a burgundy/gold one in jcpenny's new catalog, but I would love to have more to choose from.

Anyone else have one or know a good site/place to look?

Pottery Barn generally has some but I haven't seen their catalog for Christmas yet so I don't know if they have them this year or not.

In the past I've always seen them in the Domestications.com holiday catalog, but it is not out yet.

Thanks for all the suggestions...

I hadn't thought of Pottery Barn or Domestications, or trying table runners first (and I even did know that some are used both ways).

Now I have some more places to look!

you may laugh at this... but try QVC. A few years ago I purchased a Christmas ensemble and it was burgandy based. Very pretty. Very well made.. nice fabrics. Good luck
