Where do you get your weather information? We will be there about the same time, but the furthest out info I can find is for Sunday the 15th--and it shows mostly sunny and 85 degrees?

If you google "Orlando FL 15 day forecast" you will find several sites that make weather predictions including www.accuweather.com. If you compare the predictions, there is quite a bit of variation between the different sites. It does look like the temperatures will be dropping a bit though.

There is a disturbance in the Gulf this week that may be impacting the next few days. I wonder if this affects forecasting.

dont stress...the weather predicted 5 plus days out is HIGHLY UNRELIABLE so you may be getting upset for nothing!

But dont worry even if it does rain...nothing with put a damper on Disney magic

We'll be there the same time!

I'm not too worried....I don't trust 15 day forecasts all that much. Too far away. Also, last time I was at Disney rain was forecasted and there was a downpour for 20 minutes and then it totally cleared up. I'm trying not to worry!! =)

thanks for the link to accuvue. Bummer, looks like the beginning of our trip will be sunny and warm, but the day we have planned for Blizzard Beach will be much cooler.

Do you watch your local weather forecast on the news? How accurate are they a week out? If it is like ours you can not go by them. Enough said. Have a great trip in sunny florida.

That's what I was going to say. Does anyone belive any weather predictions? EVER? Looking out one's window is just as accurate, even more so actually.
There's no point in stressing about something you have no control over anyway.

We were there in May and it poured every day of our trip. That was a bit unbearable at times, but for the most part we still had a great trip. I refused to look at the weather before we left because I didn't want to be stressed about something I have no control over.

This was from our 11th day of rain...

These kids look pretty happy to me.

Your trip will be fine.

Send a message via AIM to SyracuseWolvrine
any weather forecast for more than 5 minutes out is not likely to be terribly accurate.

Most days I've looked at show a 30% chance of rain each day. That's pretty low, but they still put the "rain" symbol.

Just for the fun of it, go to http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ and check out the Five Day Track Cone and Tropical Storm Wind Speeds chart for TS Ida.

We were at Disney last week and right up until we left and even while we were there, the weather forecasts were predicting rain the first 4 days of our trip. They said anywhere from 30% - 60% chance every day. We had about 2 minutes of rain our whole trip.

I saw this on the news tonight. We are coming in on Thursday evening for a very quick trip until Sunday (11/12 - 11/15). We are planning to go to MVMCP on Friday 11/13...who would have thought that it might be raining because of a Tropical Storm in mid-November!!

Thanks guys for the positivge thoughts! I looked just now again (accuweather) and this morning its predicting alot sunnier and warmer. I wont panic til the night before if it is saying cool---I think too that if there is rain it will be brief. Our first ever trip December '02 was cool and rained every day (except our Sea World- dolphin day). And we did have fun!
