Please share your experiences with Memories by Betsy. - The DIS Discussion Forums

I am thinking about working with Memories by Betsy for my upcoming December trip. I want some of the WDW holiday wear to be ready for our arrival as well as a gift basket for my DD whose birthday is during our stay.

I would love to hear compliments or complaints with regards to this service. Also, if anyone has a good suggestion for basket items for a turning 13 year old girl who is NOT into princesses, pirates, or Hannah Montana. She does like Goofy and Pluto - and otherwise just wants to look as grownup as possible

I used her for our trip a couple months ago. I wanted to surprise my DH with a gift basket for our room. I just emailed her with some things I knew my husband liked and she emailed me back to clarify a few things and work with me on my budget, etc. A few weeks before we left, she emailed me a picture of the completed basket and the price. When we got to the resort, I had thought the basket would be delivered to my room, but it was still at the front desk (their fault, not hers).

Overall, she was great to work with and prompt with any questions I had. The basket turned out to be really nice.

I have nothing but good things to say!Coming from Canada she was wonderful to deal with when we went last December.We organised a surprise basket for our DS4 at the time,she gave me ideas,I told her what I was wanting,we worked out a price and there it was at the resort when we arrived.We asked for it at the front desk at check in,they could not find it but delivered it to our room 1/2hr later.

This trip will be my 3rd time using her. She is very easy to work with! She has great suggestions if you need some help coming up with ideas or will just work off of yours. I highly recommend her!

I haven't used her but just wanted to give one little tip -- if you plan to get anything personalized in the basket contact her early. We went in Dec. last year and I contacted Betsy about a basket with a few holiday things and some mouse ears with our names on it. She said she wouldn't be able to get them personalized because of the timing and it being the busy season at the shop in DTD where they do the embroidery.
